Finxact: If your problem is the core ledger rather than the digital channel

Digital banking platform for United States banks and credit unions
As of 1 September 2026, Alkami's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A listed digital banking vendor whose customers are United States community banks and credit unions, priced on registered users with multi year contracts. Softwr lists it under Technology. Alkami is made by Alkami Technology, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Alkami provides the digital channel layer for United States financial institutions: retail and business online and mobile banking, payments, money movement, data and marketing tools, and now digital account opening. It is publicly listed on Nasdaq as ALKT, which means unusual transparency for a banking vendor: contract length, retention and revenue per user are visible in its filings rather than only in a sales deck. The transaction that changes the shortlist is the acquisition of MANTL, announced in February 2025 at an enterprise value of $400 million. MANTL is a deposit account opening platform with 112 financial institution clients ranging from $80 million to over $20 billion in assets. Account opening had been a separate purchase for most Alkami customers, and bringing it in house means a bank can buy the channel and the onboarding funnel from one vendor, at the cost of another integration programme and, over time, less freedom to choose a best of breed account opening tool. Buyers are community banks and credit unions replacing an incumbent core vendor's bundled digital banking, which is usually the weakest part of a core contract. Pricing is per registered user per month with multi year terms and minimums, and implementation typically runs six to twelve months. The trade offs: it is a channel, not a core, so it depends on core integration quality; the per user model means paying for enrolled but inactive users; and buying digital banking separately from your core vendor means owning the integration risk between them.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Alkami.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

No. It is the digital channel and account opening layer on top of a core such as Fiserv, Jack Henry or FIS.
Per registered user per month on multi year contracts with minimums, so model your enrolled user count rather than your active user count.
It brought deposit account opening in house, announced February 2025 at $400 million enterprise value, so account opening and digital banking can come from one vendor.
