GrantStation is a subscription database of grantmakers covering US private and corporate foundations, federal and state programmes, Canadian funders and a separate international pool. Members search by geography, cause area and funder type, and receive weekly opportunity bulletins. Alongside the database it publishes PathFinder, a library of training articles and templates on proposal writing and grant readiness. The pricing behaviour is the fact that matters. The published list price is 699 US dollars a year, but GrantStation runs near-permanent promotions at 199 dollars, and state and sector nonprofit associations resell it to their members for between 75 and 139 dollars.
