What fieldmargin does
fieldmargin is a mapping-first farm record system from a London company. You draw or import your fields, then everything else hangs off that map: field notes with photos, jobs assigned to staff, input applications, livestock groups and their movements, soil sample results, and a shared feed that works like a farm-specific messaging app. It runs offline on phones and syncs when signal returns, which is the actual reason it gets adopted on farms where the far field has no coverage. Higher tiers add satellite NDVI imagery over field boundaries and cost-per-field analysis so you can see gross margin by field and crop. The pricing structure is the thing that decides purchases. fieldmargin charges per farm with unlimited hectares and unlimited team members, rather than the per-hectare or per-acre model that Agworld, Conservis and most of the American platforms use. On a 2,000 hectare arable estate that is a rounding error against a per-hectare licence. On a 40 hectare holding it is a real monthly cost for what is essentially a mapping notebook. The plan ladder runs roughly from a low single-digit pounds per month entry tier up to about thirty pounds a month for the top tier, billed in sterling, with annual payment discounted. The buyer is a UK, Irish or Australasian mixed or livestock farm that wants records, job tracking and team coordination without buying an agronomy platform. No. It holds the records that support a claim but there is no direct submission integration, so the claim itself is prepared elsewhere.
Does it work without mobile signal?
