What Emerge Tools does

Emerge Tools analyses iOS and Android builds and reports how they change: which modules and dependencies grew, what the App Store download size will be, how launch time moved, and whether image assets or duplicated code are responsible. The results appear as a comment on the pull request, which puts the information in front of the engineer who caused the change rather than in a dashboard nobody opens. It also does snapshot testing of views and a dead code detection product for iOS. The reason this exists as a purchasable product is that app size has a measurable effect on install conversion, particularly on Android in markets with constrained devices and data, and no platform vendor gives you a per change breakdown.
