Amplitude: Product analytics for in app behaviour, if the question is what users do rather than which advert brought them

Mobile attribution and marketing analytics measuring which campaigns produced which installs
As of 31 August 2026, AppsFlyer's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. The mobile measurement partner most large app advertisers use to decide where their acquisition budget goes. Softwr lists it under Mobile Development. AppsFlyer is available on iOS, Android, Web.
Overview
AppsFlyer attributes app installs and in app events to the campaign, network and creative that produced them. It integrates with several thousand ad networks, deduplicates their competing claims, and produces the numbers both sides agree to bill against. Beyond attribution it sells deep linking, fraud protection, incrementality measurement, audience segmentation and a raw data export product. It was founded in Israel in 2011 and is the largest independent vendor in the category. The commercial mechanic a buyer must understand is the pricing unit. Attribution is charged per attributed conversion on an annual commitment, so the cost of measurement scales with the number of installs you buy. A campaign that doubles in volume doubles the measurement bill alongside the media bill, and the overage rate applied once the commitment is exhausted is usually worse than the committed rate. Negotiating the commitment level is the most consequential part of the contract. The second thing that changed the category is Apple's privacy framework. Since App Tracking Transparency, iOS attribution for users who decline tracking runs through SKAdNetwork and its successor, which delivers delayed, aggregated and partially obscured data. No measurement partner can restore what was removed. What AppsFlyer sells on iOS now is modelling and aggregation on top of Apple's postbacks, and a buyer comparing vendors should ask specifically what is measured deterministically and what is estimated, because the demo screens do not distinguish them.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about AppsFlyer.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Per attributed conversion against an annual commitment, plus separate fees for the additional modules. Negotiate the commitment carefully.
It removed deterministic device level attribution for users who decline tracking. What remains on iOS is aggregated and delayed, and vendors fill the gap with modelling.
You can export raw data while under contract. Attribution history itself does not migrate to another vendor.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for AppsFlyer, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
