Where each one falls short
Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.
Mindbody
- Pricing is expensive with frequent price increases over time
- Essential features require paid add-ons increasing total cost significantly
- Complex pricing model with multiple tiers makes cost comparison difficult
Veo
- The camera has to be present, so away fixtures at grounds without a Veo produce no footage and half the season goes unrecorded unless the opposition also owns one.
- Automatic tracking degrades in rain, low light, snow and when the tripod is mounted too low, and a poorly tracked match is close to unwatchable.
- Uploads are large and depend on the club broadband, so processing after a weekend of fixtures can take hours and rural clubhouses are the worst affected.
- The subscription is the product; if it lapses, the camera you bought becomes a recording device with nowhere useful to send the footage.
- Filming amateur sport almost always means filming minors, and the club is the party responsible for consent, retention and who can access the footage, not the vendor hosting it.

Answered from the vendors’ own pages
Mindbody: What are Mindbody's pricing tiers?
Mindbody plans start at $159/month and include class scheduling and client data storage. The popular Ultimate Plus plan starts at $599/month. Entry-level pricing ranges from $75-$99/month depending on the plan selected.
SourceVeo: Can Veo analyse footage I filmed myself?
No. Veo processes recordings from Veo cameras. Footage from a camcorder or phone needs a tagging and analysis package instead.
Mindbody: Does Mindbody have an API for third-party integrations?
Yes. Mindbody provides an open API with webhooks and multiple API types for integration. The platform integrates with 700+ partner solutions.
SourceVeo: Is this hardware or software?
Both, and the hardware is the gating purchase. You buy the camera and then subscribe to the cloud service that makes the recordings usable.
Veo: What happens to our footage if we stop subscribing?
Access to the cloud library depends on an active subscription. Ask specifically about export and retention before you cancel, and download what you need first.
