- It is a Windows .NET application at heart, so remote and mobile use is weaker than browser-native competitors and staff working on the docks are less well served.
- The same vendor sells MARINAGO as its cloud product, which raises a real question about how much future development the desktop line receives.
- Running it on your own servers means you own SQL Server licensing, backups and patching, which is an infrastructure cost and risk that never appears in the software quote.
