What Muvi One does

Muvi One is a multi-tenant OTT platform sold to broadcasters, faith organisations, fitness brands, education publishers and regional streaming services that want a Netflix-style service without assembling one from components. A subscription covers the content management system, video transcoding, CDN delivery, DRM, subscriber management, subscription and pay-per-view billing, and white-label apps for web, iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV. Muvi Flex is the equivalent product for audio. The vendor also sells Muvi Server, Muvi Live and a marketplace of add-ons. What distinguishes it commercially is that pricing is published at all. Most OTT platform vendors quote, and a buyer cannot compare without three sales cycles. Muvi lists four tiers for Muvi One, from $399 a month on annual billing to a custom tier starting around $10,000 a month, with a 15 percent discount for paying yearly. Buyers are typically outside the largest markets, where a bundled stack with regional payment gateway support beats stitching together separate players, CDNs and billing vendors. Included bandwidth is 100GB per month on the entry plan, which a service with a genuine audience exceeds almost immediately, so the published $399 rate is a floor rather than a forecast and the consumption charge is where the real cost lives.
Overage rates are not published alongside the plans, so a buyer can compare licence tiers but cannot model total cost of ownership without asking sales, which defeats much of the benefit of published pricing.
Storage and bandwidth are quoted as the same allowance figure, which is misleading in practice: a modest library plus modest viewing will exhaust bandwidth long before storage, and buyers who read the tier as one number budget wrongly.
The bundled approach means the CDN, player, DRM and billing are all Muvi's choices, so a customer with a preferred CDN contract or an existing billing system cannot substitute components and pays for capability they already own.
Pricing is in US dollars regardless of where the service operates, so a streaming business earning in a weakening local currency carries exchange-rate risk on its largest fixed cost, which is precisely the market segment the product targets.
