What Bridgit Bravo does
Bridgit Bravo is a workforce planning tool for construction. It holds a roster of project staff with their roles, skills and availability, a list of active and pending projects, and the allocations between them. Planners can model a pursuit as if it were won and immediately see who would be double-booked, which gaps appear in six months and which roles need hiring. Reporting covers utilisation, forecast demand by role and the hiring pipeline implied by the current backlog. The split that decides everything in construction software is whether a product serves the general contractor or the speciality subcontractor, and Bravo serves the general contractor. Its unit of planning is a named salaried employee, the project manager, superintendent, engineer or estimator, assigned to a project for a period of months. That is exactly how a general contractor thinks about staffing. It is not how a speciality subcontractor thinks: an electrical or mechanical contractor is dispatching crews of hourly craft workers week by week against changing site conditions, and Bravo is the wrong shape for that entirely. Vendors in this category frequently claim both audiences; this one is genuinely built for one of them. The commercial argument is that staffing decisions currently live in a spreadsheet maintained by one operations person, and that spreadsheet becomes the single point of failure for a contractor with fifty projects. - Value collapses if executives do not use the forecasts, because the effort of keeping allocations current sits with operations staff who get little back from data entry alone.
- Integration with project management and enterprise resource planning systems keeps project lists in sync but does not resolve conflicting definitions of what a project is, which surfaces immediately in reporting.
- Pricing is per user and the natural instinct is to buy seats for everyone who wants visibility, which inflates cost well beyond the handful of planners who actually maintain data.
