Where each one falls short
Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.
Google Calendar
- No AI-driven scheduling assistance or automatic meeting time optimization
- Lacks built-in appointment booking pages or payment integrations for scheduling
- Limited mobile support for shared calendars and unreliable push notifications on phones
- No native task management or project tracking features within the calendar interface
- Limited offline functionality on the web (read-only mode only)
- Strict usage limits (maximum 60 calendars, 750 shares per time period)
RevenueHero
- The published per user price is not the whole bill: a platform fee of 79 dollars a month on annual billing sits on top, so a ten seat inbound team pays around 329 dollars a month before add-ons rather than the 250 the per user rate suggests.
- Spam prevention and enrichment are separately priced add-ons rather than included, and spam filtering on an inbound demo form is not really optional, so most buyers are paying at least one add-on from day one.
- It does routing and scheduling only, with no conversational chat, no intent data and no buyer signal layer, so companies wanting a single inbound platform will still buy a second product alongside it.
- Routing quality depends entirely on CRM data hygiene; if account ownership, territory fields or company records are inconsistent in Salesforce or HubSpot, the tool routes confidently to the wrong person and nobody notices until a deal is lost.
- It is a smaller and younger vendor than the incumbents it competes with, so enterprise procurement teams will find a shorter security review history, a thinner partner ecosystem and less negotiating precedent than with the established alternatives.

Answered from the vendors’ own pages
Google Calendar: Can I use Google Calendar offline?
Yes. On the web, Google Calendar works in read-only mode offline for cached events. On iOS and Android, the Google Calendar app automatically caches recent events and lets you create, edit, and respond to events offline. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet.
SourceRevenueHero: What does it actually cost for a ten person team?
On annual inbound Essentials, roughly 250 dollars a month in seats plus a 79 dollar platform fee, so about 329 dollars a month before add-ons.
Google Calendar: Can I export my calendar data?
Yes. Google Calendar exports as ICS files through Settings > Import & export > Export. ICS files are readable by Outlook, Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, and most other calendar applications.
SourceRevenueHero: Do admins need a paid seat?
No. There are no admin licence fees; you pay only for users who take meetings.
Google Calendar: Does Google Calendar integrate with video conferencing?
Yes. Google Calendar integrates natively with Google Meet and Zoom. When you create an event, you can add a video conference link directly. Other platforms like Webex and GoTo Meeting can be integrated via Zapier or third-party automation.
SourceRevenueHero: How is it different from Calendly?
Calendly books time on one person calendar. RevenueHero decides which person should own the lead first, using CRM data, then books.
Google Calendar: Can I share my calendar with teams?
Yes. You can share individual calendars with specific people or make them publicly viewable. However, accessing shared calendars on mobile devices has limitations, and push notifications for shared calendars may not work reliably on phones.
SourceRevenueHero: Does it replace Chili Piper?
For routing and inbound scheduling, largely yes. It does not cover the wider conversational and buyer-intent features some Chili Piper buyers use.
Google Calendar: Does Google Calendar work with Outlook?
No direct integration. You can manually import/export using ICS files or use third-party tools like Zapier to sync events. This is different from Outlook, which integrates seamlessly within Microsoft 365.
SourceGoogle Calendar: Is there a cost to use Google Calendar?
Google Calendar is free for personal use. Google Workspace plans (which include Calendar) start at $7 per user per month for business use.
