Where each one falls short
Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.
Enso Connect
- The roughly five per cent commission on upsell revenue means the better the product works the more it costs, and a portfolio generating meaningful ancillary revenue pays far more than the per-listing headline suggests.
- It requires a property management system underneath it, so it is always a second subscription and a second integration rather than a consolidation.
- Small operators rarely reach the upsell volume that justifies the setup effort, and configuring conditional guest journeys properly is a project rather than an afternoon.
- Guest data and messaging pass through another vendor, which adds a data protection assessment for European operators and another party to the breach surface.
- Smart lock and PMS coverage is good for the mainstream products but thin outside them, so an operator on a less common lock brand or a regional PMS may find the automation does not reach their stack.
TicketingHub
- The 3 per cent applies to cash and walk-up sales recorded in the system, not only to online bookings, which operators frequently miss and which makes on-site revenue more expensive than expected.
- At meaningful volume the model is expensive: a hundred thousand pounds of ticket revenue costs three thousand pounds a year, well above what a subscription platform with a lower booking fee would charge.
- The 3 per cent excludes card processing, so the total take on each ticket is materially higher than the headline rate implies.
- Enterprise discounts exist but are negotiated privately, so the published price is not the price for anyone with scale and there is no way to benchmark what a good deal looks like.
- The product is a ticketing engine rather than an operations platform, with limited resource scheduling, customer relationship tooling and reseller management compared with the larger competitors.

Answered from the vendors’ own pages
Enso Connect: Does Enso Connect replace my PMS?
No. It sits on top of Hostaway, Guesty or a similar platform and handles the guest-facing journey only.
TicketingHub: What does TicketingHub cost?
There is no subscription. It takes 3 per cent of every successful booking, plus your card processing separately.
Enso Connect: How does the upsell commission work?
Enso Connect takes a percentage, around five per cent, of upsell revenue processed through the platform, on top of the per-listing subscription.
TicketingHub: Does the 3 per cent apply to cash sales?
Yes. It applies across the board, including cash and in-person walk-up sales entered into the system, which is the detail most operators overlook.
Enso Connect: Is it worth it for five properties?
Usually not. The per-listing cost is low but the configuration effort and the upsell volume needed to see a return favour portfolios of twenty units and up.
TicketingHub: At what volume does a subscription platform become cheaper?
Roughly once ticket revenue passes about fifty thousand pounds a year, where 3 per cent begins to exceed a typical monthly subscription plus a lower booking fee.
Enso Connect: Can it take deposits and verify guests on Airbnb bookings?
Yes, that is one of the main reasons operators add it, since Airbnb itself does not give hosts that control.
TicketingHub: Can I negotiate the rate?
Yes for high volume. Enterprise rates are available but are not published, so you will need to ask directly.
