Ozonetel

Indian cloud contact centre with its own carrier infrastructure and on-premise deployment options

As of 31 August 2026, Ozonetel's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A CloudAgent contact centre platform that owns telecom infrastructure in India rather than reselling it, which is why it can deploy on-premise for banks. Softwr lists it under Telecommunications. Ozonetel is made by Ozonetel Communications, available on Web, iOS, Android, Self-hosted.

Overview

What Ozonetel does

Ozonetel sells CloudAgent, a cloud contact centre platform covering inbound and outbound voice, predictive and preview diallers, IVR, automatic call distribution, call recording, quality monitoring, WhatsApp and chat channels, and agent desktops that embed into CRM systems. It also sells a lighter CloudAgent Lite package for smaller teams. What distinguishes it in its home market is infrastructure ownership. Ozonetel operates its own telecom stack in India rather than layering software over a third party carrier, and it will deploy on-premise or in a private cloud. That combination is what gets it into Indian banks, insurers and NBFCs whose regulators restrict where call recordings and customer voice data may reside. A pure SaaS competitor cannot answer that requirement without a local partner. Buyers are Indian BFSI, healthcare, e-commerce and BPO operations, plus a growing US presence. The significant trade-off for buyers is that Ozonetel publishes nothing. There is no working public pricing page, so agent seat rates, per minute telecom charges, number rental and dialler licences are all negotiated, and in Indian contact centre contracts the per minute component frequently exceeds the seat component.

What people use it for

  • An Indian bank or insurer whose regulator requires call recordings to stay on infrastructure it controls, needing an on-premise contact centre
  • A collections or telesales operation running predictive dialling across hundreds of agents
  • A support team that wants the agent phone bar embedded inside Salesforce or Zoho rather than a separate softphone
  • An e-commerce operation adding WhatsApp to the same queue and agent pool that handles voice

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Ozonetel.

  • No pricing is published in any usable form, so seat rates, per minute charges, number rental and dialler licences are entirely opaque until a sales process is underway, which makes budget approval slow.
  • Contact centre cost in India is dominated by per minute telecom charges rather than seat licences, so a low quoted seat rate can hide the majority of the bill in usage that scales with call volume.
  • Feature depth outside voice is thinner than Genesys or Talkdesk, so an organisation prioritising digital-first omnichannel with deep workforce management will find gaps.
  • The product, support model and integration set are shaped around Indian market requirements, and organisations outside India get a smaller partner network and less mature local support.
  • On-premise deployment, one of its main selling points for regulated buyers, brings back infrastructure, upgrade and capacity planning costs that the move to cloud contact centres was meant to remove.
