What WeWeb does
WeWeb builds responsive web applications visually and connects them to data through native integrations and REST or GraphQL. It is used most often in front of purpose-built backends: Supabase, Airtable, an internal API, or a hosted backend service. The editor exposes collections, page state, bindings and workflows in a way that resembles a front-end framework more than a drag and drop site builder, and it supports custom JavaScript, custom components and CSS where the visual layer stops. What separates it from a general no-code platform is the deliberate refusal to be one. There is no database, no built-in authentication provider and no opinion about your server-side logic, and in exchange the applications it produces are Vue applications that paid tiers allow you to host yourself. That matters commercially in two situations: when the data cannot leave your infrastructure, and when a client contract requires you to hand over something that runs without the vendor.
