Payhawk: If your spend is concentrated in Europe rather than Asia-Pacific

Corporate cards, multi-currency accounts and accounts payable automation for Asia-Pacific businesses
As of 1 September 2026, Volopay's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A spend management platform combining corporate cards, multi-currency business accounts and payables automation, built around Singapore dollar as the base currency and aimed squarely at Asia-Pacific companies rather than Europe or North America. Softwr lists it under Payroll. Volopay is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Volopay issues virtual and physical corporate cards, holds multi-currency business balances, and automates accounts payable and reconciliation into one dashboard, aimed at companies transacting across several Asia-Pacific currencies from a single Singapore-based account structure. Custom card designs and workflow controls are available on its higher tiers. The detail that changes the calculation is currency fee structure: Volopay advertises zero fees on domestic transfers and its Accounts Payable Automation, but charges roughly 1.6 percent on cross-border payments in a non-SGD currency, and around 3.1 percent on cross-currency spend within Singapore itself. That second figure is easy to miss and can materially change total cost for a company whose staff spend across several currencies day to day, which is common in the region it targets. Buyers are Asia-Pacific companies, often Singapore-headquartered with staff or vendors in several regional markets, needing one account structure instead of separate local business banking relationships. The trade-off against a pan-European tool like Payhawk or Mooncard is regional focus: Volopay's strength is APAC currency and payment rail coverage, and companies operating mainly in Europe or North America gain little from that specialisation.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Volopay.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Volopay, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
