- It does not execute automated tests itself, only manages and reports on them, so it is always an additional cost layered on top of an automation framework, not a replacement for one.
- At 47 US dollars per user per month for the Team plan, cost scales linearly with every tester added, which becomes a meaningful budget line for larger QA organisations compared to some competitors' flatter pricing models.
- Corporate-tier pricing itself is quote-only despite the published 10-licence minimum, so the actual per-seat cost at that tier is not transparent from the pricing page alone.
- As with any dedicated test management tool, teams already using a general project management or issue tracker for lightweight test tracking may find PractiTest's dedicated feature set more structure than a small team actually needs.
