- Pricing is bundled into analyser and reagent contracts rather than itemised, so a laboratory cannot compare the informatics cost against a standalone middleware quote and often does not know what it is paying for the software.
- Because the software is tied to a reagent rental term, the real cost of switching middleware is the remaining years of the reagent commitment, not a software renewal, which locks the laboratory in far longer than a software contract would.

Not realistically. It is quoted as part of an instrument or reagent agreement and its value is in the depth of integration with Beckman platforms. A laboratory with other analysers should look at vendor neutral middleware.
Beckman Coulter DxONE: Is DxONE the same as REMISOL Advance?
No. REMISOL Advance is the on premises middleware for higher volume and multi site laboratories. DxONE Workflow Manager is a separate cloud product aimed at low volume laboratories. They are not the same rule engine.
