LaunchDarkly: If you want a flag platform that is still an independent product with published enterprise positioning

Feature flags tied to a metrics pipeline that attributes production impact to each release, now Harness FME
As of 31 August 2026, Split's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A feature flag platform whose real product is measurement: every flag is wired to metrics so a rollout automatically reports whether it moved conversion or broke latency. Softwr lists it under Testing. Split is made by Harness Inc., available on Web, API, iOS, Android.
Overview
Split combines feature flagging with an impact measurement engine. Flags control who sees what, as everywhere else, but Split also ingests events and metrics and attributes changes in those metrics to the specific flag that caused them, with statistical significance testing. A team can ship behind a flag, roll it to five per cent, and get an automatic alert that the treatment group is showing a rise in error rate or a fall in checkout completion before the rollout goes further. That measurement layer is the distinguishing capability and the reason to consider it over a pure flag service. It turns feature flags into an experimentation platform without a separate analytics integration, and the guardrail metrics function as an automated safety check on every release rather than only on deliberate A/B tests. For product organisations that want every change measured by default, it removes the step where somebody has to remember to build the analysis. The commercial fact that dominates any evaluation is ownership. Harness acquired Split and it is now sold as Harness Feature Management and Experimentation, one module in a larger DevOps platform; split.io redirects to the Harness pricing page, which no longer publishes module prices and directs buyers to sales. That means an organisation buying it is now buying into a Harness commercial relationship, and single-module pricing is a negotiation rather than a list price. Buyers are product and engineering organisations with enough traffic for statistical tests to conclude, which in practice means substantial volume.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Split.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Answered, with sources
Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
It is now sold as Harness Feature Management and Experimentation after the Harness acquisition, and split.io redirects to harness.io.
Not from a price list. Harness publishes bundle tiers and directs single-module buyers to sales.
It attributes changes in your product metrics to specific flags with statistical significance testing and alerts on guardrail metrics.
Yes. Statistical tests need volume to conclude, so low-traffic products get limited value from the measurement layer.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Split, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
