ResortCleaning is available on Web, iOS, Android.

Overview

What ResortCleaning does

ResortCleaning is a housekeeping and field operations platform for vacation rental managers and the cleaning companies that serve them. It reads reservation data from connected property management systems, generates cleaning and maintenance jobs from check-out and check-in times, assigns them to staff or contractors, runs photo-based inspection checklists, tracks time and inventory, and produces invoices and payroll figures at the end of the period. What separates it from the better known turnover tools is that it is built for an organisation that already has a workforce. Turno and similar products are essentially marketplaces that match a host with a local cleaner. ResortCleaning assumes you employ or contract a team, and gives you the structured back office for that: rate cards per property, per staff pay rules, inspection sign-off, and billing that distinguishes owner-charged work from manager-absorbed work. For a cleaning business serving several management companies, that distinction is the whole product. Buyers are resort and rental management companies with roughly fifty units upward, and independent cleaning contractors serving them. Pricing is not published on the vendor site, so budgeting requires a quote. The trade-off is scope: it does housekeeping operations well and does not attempt to be a PMS, so it lives or dies on the quality of the integration with whichever platform holds your bookings.

What people use it for

  • A rental management company with two hundred units replacing a spreadsheet turnover board with jobs generated straight from the PMS
  • A cleaning contractor serving four different management companies that needs separate rate cards and invoices per client
  • An operator wanting photographic proof of unit condition before a guest arrives so damage disputes have evidence
  • A manager reconciling which cleans are billable to the owner and which are absorbed as manager cost at month end

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about ResortCleaning.

  • Pricing is not published on the vendor site, so comparison against Turno or an in-house scheduling board requires a sales conversation and third-party figures vary widely.
  • It is a housekeeping system only, so it depends entirely on the PMS integration; if your platform is not on the supported list the automated job creation that justifies the product does not work.
  • There is no cleaner marketplace, so an operator who does not already have a workforce gets scheduling software with nobody to schedule.
  • The vendor is small, which means less depth of documentation, a smaller partner ecosystem and more dependence on direct support than a large platform offers.
  • Mobile field use is functional rather than polished, and cleaning crews with low technical confidence typically need in-person training before inspections are completed properly.

Questions people ask

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

How is it different from Turno?

Turno matches hosts with cleaners from a marketplace. ResortCleaning is back-office software for a team you already employ or contract.

What does it cost?

Not published. Expect quoting by property count or job volume, and ask whether there is an account minimum for small portfolios.

Does it replace my property management system?

No. It takes reservation data from the PMS and handles the operations layer only.

Does it handle contractor pay?

Yes. Completed jobs feed pay calculations for contractors as well as owner invoicing.
