Where each one falls short

Mighty Networks
- A transaction fee is charged on paid memberships on top of the subscription, at 2% on Launch and 1% on Scale
- Reaching the lowest 0.5% fee requires Mighty Pro, which is custom priced and gated behind a demo
- Host and moderator seats are capped by plan, at 3 hosts on Launch at $79 a month and 5 on Scale at $179
- The subscription is charged regardless of revenue, so a community that earns nothing still pays $79 a month
Bumble
- Women-only first messaging rule in dating mode limits spontaneous connections initiated by men
- 24-hour message window expiration creates pressure and causes matches to expire if women don't initiate contact
- Dynamic pricing varies by age, gender, and location making subscription costs unpredictable
- UI glitches reported including occasional app crashes and notification failures
