Validation experience. In a regulated laboratory the software forms part of what an inspector examines, and decades of accumulated validation practice is not something a newer vendor can substitute for.
TetraScience: What is the pricing unit?
Connected instruments and the scope of data engineering, over a fixed contract term. There is no published per-seat or per-gigabyte rate.
LabWare: What does it cost?
Not published. Enterprise licensing plus implementation and validation services, and the services frequently exceed the licence.
TetraScience: Does it replace my ELN or LIMS?
No. It sits underneath them, harmonising instrument data and making it available to whatever applications you already run.
LabWare: How long is implementation?
A year or more for a regulated laboratory, including validation. Anyone quoting substantially less is either scoping narrowly or omitting validation.
