The self hosted edition has no product cap, but performance is bounded by the internal schema rather than by your database. Test at your expected size.
RabbitMQ: Is RabbitMQ free?
Yes, open source with no licence fee. Broadcom sells commercial support.
APITable: Can I embed it in my own product?
Yes, and that is the main reason to choose it. Views embed and the widget SDK extends them.
RabbitMQ: RabbitMQ or Kafka?
RabbitMQ is a message broker: simpler to run and better at flexible routing and work queues. Kafka is a replayable event log built for very high throughput streaming, and much heavier to operate.
APITable: Is the hosted version representative?
No. Its free tier caps records per space, which is a commercial limit rather than a technical one.
RabbitMQ: Can RabbitMQ replay messages?
Not in the way Kafka can. Messages are removed once acknowledged, so rebuilding state from history is not the model.
