Adobe FrameMaker: Can I still buy a perpetual FrameMaker licence?

No. Adobe discontinued perpetual licensing after FrameMaker 2020; every current release is sold on subscription.

Antora: Can I use markdown with Antora?

Not as the primary format. Antora is an AsciiDoc pipeline, and treating markdown as a first-class input means a different tool.

Adobe FrameMaker: What happens to an old perpetual copy if I stop paying my current subscription?

If you own an older perpetual version separately it keeps working, but it will not receive new features or compatibility fixes; a subscription that lapses removes access to the current release.
